Our dementia care focuses on patience, familiarity, and respect. We create calm routines and provide consistent support to help each person feel secure and valued every day. With trained carers and compassionate attention, we bring comfort, understanding, and peace of mind to families.
Visits are built around what is already familiar: the same mug, the same chair, a short walk if that is part of the day, and a carer who has read the plan. We keep changes small and explain them. If someone becomes distressed, the carer slows down rather than rushing the task.
Families tell us the hard part is often the evening, or the hours when they are at work. We can arrange visiting care at those times, or talk about live-in care when nights are unsettled. We are not a memory clinic and we do not replace the GP or specialist. We work alongside them.
City Carers is registered for dementia. The free assessment includes time to hear the person’s history, not only the list of tasks.
